Fake Gold, Maximum 5

A bulgy and very local plastic bag.

Contains things flown back from France.

YanHao came back from his 6 months student exchange program 2 weeks ago.

Chocolate, the usual guest from western countries.

And this is..... poultry liver?

He say can spread on bread, and he can't tell us what exactly it is. He suggests us Google before eating. Stiney, you are the next person who I know studied French, any help?

A tiny bowl and a Eiffel Tower key chain.

Don't know why I have the image to utilise this bowl with that can food. The size very matchy matchy.

Well this unite is short, because Liyan is leaving us to Australia this Sunday. T_T
So we had a farewell gathering with her last Saturday, and went to Minds Cafe, Boat Quay.

We were just settling down and this waiter came and asked what drinks we want. Being a games cafe, the tables around us were loud and we can't hear his list, Jas simply asked him to repeat again and he goes

"Peach apricot tea, coke, apple tea and lime. Peach apricot, coke, apple tea and lime, peach apricot......"

For another 3, 4 times until she has to stop him. Wonders if that is good service or insult.

Then we start to play our first game, some mining theme game, and he came to explain. He took his time to search for some mine cave cards, when usually they halved the cards and have us look for them together.

There were 6, 7 of them, then he continues to throw out some gold cards, one with gold and one with the black coal aka "fake gold". He then showed some town folks and explain we take turns throwing the gold cards at one side and the folks at the other, not forgetting to remind us the black ones are "Fake gold".

Then each side of the mines can hold only maximum 5 cards. And there he goes, "Maximum 5, maximum 5, maximum 5....." for all the 6, 7 caves and BOTH SIDES! He is really good in tongue twisters. And the black card is "Fake gold".

After all the cards are thrown we count the amount of golds the mines have and the black card is "Fake gold" so it is no value because it is

"Fake gold!"

Reminds me of the time when Elim drilled physics theory and chemistry equations into our heads. When we start our game, ChangPin still ask how many cards each side,

"Maximum 5!"

Then we try another game and he came again, and there are lots of tiles to be placed like 30 of them and again he did it himself and we just sat there staring at him. We waited for like 10 mins for him to finish piecing, along the way we tried to help him piece but he is holding to the stack of tiles and not taking the next one out till the current one is properly placed, and the whole time YANHAO KNOWS HOW TO PLAY IN THE FIRST PLACE!

!#$@ I didn't know it until Jas told the guy we already know and he left, sadly. Wah piang wasted like 15mins with him, and that game tortured us for a good whole 1 hour, I don't even know what is the title of the game.

I here pronounce our team Maximum 5! Or do you prefer Fake Gold? Haha.

Had dinner at TCC Raffles City, with the AYG people below us eating a buffet spread, accompanied with fireworks later on. YEAH! Best, but not a full clear view, in fact pretty blinded.
Marks the end of the gathering with "Maximum5 / FakeGolds"

Any of you kind enough to send me the pics we took? Liyan and Jas... pretty please..
