Kovan Superstar 09 Finals

Yeah its finally here! The pictures were not very well collected but I'm trying my best to reform them, the start of the day was kind of hectic and messy for me, I can't remember why. But the star wasn't with us because they had to gather at 10 in the morning.

At the finals, the competition was divided into 3 sections.
Section 1: The finalists were to perform a song from the genre they were given, Rock / Retro / R&B.

I tried to group them to the genre, but I find myself classifying a huge group to Rock, so lets forget that idea.

Poor girl, she was very sick that day and was sulking on stage. The heartless judge still have to criticise her mood.

Not very experienced I guess? Did not manage to have a clear picture of her.

Age 13 and she have a very strong and powerful voice!
Everyone thought she will be in the top 3.

And here comes the experienced one, skip the next 2 pictures if you cannot stand.

Despite having the unfit corset slipping off her boobs, she is the one with the most picture have her face captured clear!

Private paparazzi present says she is Julian Hee's brother's girlfriend. I don't know how they derived it, but the brother doesn't look like Julian Hee in any way.

Aka 盧廣仲 on that day, he knew almost all of the jury (kss 08 finalist).

And they had a sector that the jury can cast votes to show who shall be the top 6.

See how the organiser went all out to look for mic to match her skirt.

His voice was kind of blocked that day, but never mind, WE STILL ENJOY TO THE MAX!

Remember the online polling? I last saw the results was 2000 plus for Mao and the organiser hid the results a few days before the finals.

The 3rd place winner had got 2000 votes.

Stine told me she last saw Mao's vote as 3000 plus.

2nd place had got 4000, it could be him.

Alas its not!

Winner of the online popularity vote has got 6000 votes to support him! We looked up to the 2nd floor and saw Edwin madly giggling like a kindergarten kid watching Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Mao is the most popular contestant!

And I wonder why did they present the winners their own photos.

Half time and the guest judges, also Superstar finalists, performed.

Next up, is the duet! They were paired up to the sequence they appeared in the first sector, i.e, No.1 paired up No.2, No.3 with no.4.

Alright when the judges went away to decide who should be the top 6, they had this jury formed by the KSS 08 finalists also have their say who should go into the top 6. Finalists being finalists, practice the friend come vote friend thing.

Mao didn't make it to the top 6, thus I did not replace the battery.

At section 3, the top 6 got to sing any song of their choice.We thought Aiysha will be the winner, but our dreams were smashed when she start to sing her last song. A Hanah Montanah song, we though she could at least get the other 2 position, but no!

Yeah, she has got a huge camp of army too. Ah ma, grand aunt, uncle etc and of course her boyfriend, and all of them have the same feel, like they practice getai annually type.

They had a song that the top 12 sang and recorded to a disc, stine bought it, and they have to lip sync at the finale. The "champion" just stood there swaying left to right even when its her turn to sing, not very 上道. But Mao grabbed 2 other girls and act high at the back, all of us were laughing because the people in front were so stale and the 3 of them were so high.

Yeah that concluded the fun, winning is not important, its the madness we went through that will be in our mind, isn't it?

p.s: too tired after this super long and picture infested post. Fireworks later but don't look too forward to it.
