I have a big head and short arms!
Yeah I simply love turtles! So cool can! Thanks stiney for the free tix.
After the 14 yrs break, TMNT is still so good. Nice action and slimed down turtle. However our favourite Michelangelo and Donatello are just background actors. Sitting at the 3rd row from the screen isn't good, but compare to the front row seat for the 3 hour long LOTR and Harry Potter, its nothing.
But they missed out their famous line, POWER BANKA! Or whatever it is and the L, R, D, M name plate is missing from their waist. Splinter looks wolvy, more handsome and younger and the turtles has a handful of names to greet him. And the yellow jumpsuit reporter April has changed her job. Brings back lots of childhood feelings. I want to watch more turtles!
Surprised, PS is fully packed with ppl and I mean really full. U see queues every where. And its our turn to buy the tix the guy told us they don't have any 2 seats together, omg, why like that, and we went down to Bishan for the 9.30 show. Its packed too, I can't believe it. While queuing up, the GV ppl came to the queue to announce that Mr. Bean has got only the midnights left, half of the queue ppl just disperse 0.O ppl like old Beany.
After the show the rain is hell big, and when we went to take the train, the train stops and refused to open the door. It stayed for a few mins and it went off leaving all commuters in embrassment. When i got up the next train, Stiney told me that hers will take 10 mins. Haiyo, what happen.
Oh btw, the headline has got nothing to do with the mutated turtles, its pixar's new show, i think, that Nemo and Incredibles. The ad is already farnie enought with the T-rex unable to reach its catch. And Shrek the third looks cute too with the donkey draggon kids! Woo Woo lots of animation to catch this June.

For ppl who watched the 仁心慈爱 donation.
I saw this clip on Stiney's blog months ago and kind of enjoy it, so when I saw the ad on TV i thought "Yeah, let's see how are you going to perform or copy this."
And not to my disappointment, its as bad as i expected. I think they used abt 75% of the same moves as the clip. And the song they used aren't as good as this and obviously no creativity. They could at least spice this up by making it a faster pace, or more comical, or do the backflip that Yanzi did on her 奔 MV.
Haha, joking, you can't expect 陈莉萍 to do that.
But anyway, I'm not those danger stunts supporter, but if its exciting, I don't mind. I agree that they are not from circus and can't expect them to do more. But they are artise, entertainer I think 卖笑 is part of their job scope, at least in performances like this.
Who will enjoy a show or performance with performers sulking and 用尽吃奶之力 to squeeze their brows to the centre of their face to show you that "Its Difficult! I might break my head this time" for the whole 3 and 1/2 hr show.
Will the Phantom in The Phantom of the opera do it when he can't reach his super high notes? Will you see Geishas do this when they trying to perform infront of their customers? Or even Steve Irwin, he put his life up fighting with his reptiles friends, he smile happily infront of any cameras, thats why we like his shows. Even during school performance, you have to smile even if you are just a tree in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Don't have to cut your head, it will reach its brim one day when u cut too much. But fun and laughter will never reach its brim, this dont apply to Jack Neo and gang acting as women though.

Earthquake
Major shakes detected over Singapore this morning. Reports from Orchard, Shenton Way and Sengkang flooded the phone and SMS.
Equipments hanging in the kitchen keep shaking, everyone thought they are fainting and cling for support. Even my sis in Shenton Way call to report earthquake its not a small thing...... will Tsunami attack again? Who are the victim this time round? Indonesia again?!
Haiz, i hate the shaking feel in da house, got a feeling that my blocks will fall cuz they are so thin and tall. Gather passport, ic, hp, bank book and all in case it really falls.

The epicentre was 50 kilometres north-northeast of Padang, on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia and some 430 kilometres south-west of Singapore. Tremors were also felt in many parts of Singapore. Callers to the MediaCorp News Hotline said they felt tremors in areas such as Beach Road, Jalan Besar, Robinson Road, Shunfu and Toa Payoh. Some buildings, like the Concourse at Beach Road, Capital Square and Centennial Tower in the city, and even Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Clementi, were evacuated. Witnesses said several tall buildings in the central business district swayed slightly.

New Fringe
I had a new cut on my fringe, and i think im dead.... going to home bound for the nxt few wks.

I went to try out the straight fringe look, looks ok when cutting. Looks fine when finish. But it turns disaster when i reach home! My fringe curve up more then usual and it becomes too short! And i forgot i always use my fringe to cover my big small eye prob, and now the size of my eyes is too obvious. Then the rest of my hair moves slightly backwards and now my face looks BIG!
Overall, it spells only disaster. I cant get my lids to work with the tapes to fake big eyes. I need super gluey wax, clay, foam, gel to either glue my fringe up or glue the side hair closer to my face. And someone commented, "Looks like xiaxue."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think straight fringe dont go well with dark black hair, looks too distinctive, looks like Jap and China Dolls.

情人节礼物的笑话
曾经在情人节即将到来的时候，一名女生在电视上看到了变色龙，认为变色龙很配她的男朋友，因为他/它们都很酷。
所以在情人节当天，女孩提着装着变色龙的笼子和男友见面。吃过晚餐后，朋友越他们到KTV一起K歌。唱了3-4小时的歌，这对情侣在回家的路上打开笼子看看变色龙，怎么知道变色龙竟然已经死了。女孩伤心地哭了，男孩便安慰地说：“没关系，明天我们一起回宠物店问问老板，为他为什么卖一只病了的变色龙给我们。”
换了一只新的变色龙后，男孩很细心的照顾，它也很容易养。三四个月后的一天，变色龙和往常一样，停息在男孩的电脑上，男孩正在网上聊天。男孩的爸爸在客厅唱起 karaoke，变色龙也开始起了变化。
本来平静的停息着的变色龙，突然眼睛法直，嘴巴越开越大，然后四脚朝天，死了。
变色龙因为生长在森林，对声音敏感，太嘈杂的声音对变色龙来说是种压力。男孩竟然眼睁睁的看着变色龙在他的面前，因自己爸爸的歌声，归西了。
情人节送礼时，要特别的留意哦。不要赔了夫人又折兵，还牺牲了两条无辜的生命。祝天下有情人，常常久久，甜甜蜜蜜。

猪宝旺来来拜年
Been busy with CNY.
Results: 3 broken finger nails, esp the right index finger nail has break record of the shortest i had cut since ZH days.
10 brittle toe nails and i broke one by tripping other leg over. KNN, suay things happens.
Oily face.
Lots of tasting, my mum give me a reason that why she dont want to taste herself. "After abt 40 yrs of tasting my own cookings, my tongue is already numb to taste others. You taste for me." So...... i think im gaining weight. Can see my tummy bloating up.... SHIT!

This is the one and only 猪宝旺来 (珠宝旺来） in the world.
Can anyone tell me how the hell to melt the choco properly so they are watery enuff to flow and covers the cornflakes cookies????
UPDATE: Never let the chocolate gets in contact with any water when melting, it only harden back. Add in veggie oil or Shortening to smooth and melt perfectly.
I went to the chinatown New Year market few days ago, damn squeezy.
I think i knuckle a few kids on their heads, send a few knee kicks to a dozen of toddlers, elbows some tummies and stepping alot on the feet. Lots of ang mos busy shooting and collecting "interesting" Chinese display. And i heard a few tenders increase the price when selling to ang mos.
Been idling, so cny has lots of things to do.
